"Alone" in Strange Horizons

Hi internet, I have a new story out today in Strange Horizons (along with a lovely podcast), and you can read it right here: Alone.

This story was a challenge I set for myself, to try and do two things I don’t naturally/normally do: write a story mostly in summary, and write a story that relies on “real science.” It was a pleasure to write and I hope it’s a pleasure to read.
